These Swotzy Dashboard features are designed for those who are just starting in online selling but still want to expedite the shipping process. These are three library features that will make creating new shipments a breeze and cut your shipment preparation time in half
Adresses Library

What's the Purpose of the feature?
The Addresses Library saves you time by eliminating the need to manually input sender and recipient addresses every time you create a new order. Within the Addresses library, you can conveniently add: your most frequently used Sender addresses (typically your own) and your Recipient addresses (your customers who frequently place orders from your store).
Where can I find it on my Dashboard?
To access the Addresses feature on Swotzy Dashboard, follow these steps:
- Log in to Swotzy Dashboard.
- Click on the Settings ⚙️ icon located in the top right corner.
- On the left-hand menu bar, click on Addresses 🏠.
- Here, you can add your most frequently used sender's and recipient's addresses.
How to Add a New Sender Address on Swotzy Dashboard

Adding a New Sender Address to the Address Library follows the same steps as adding your address when creating a shipment. You will need to provide the following details:
Once you've filled in all of these details, press 'Save.' You are free to edit, delete, and add as many Sender addresses as you find useful.
Pro tip: We highly recommend filling in all the Address details in English, especially if you are already shipping internationally or plan to do so.
How to Add a New Recipent Address on Swotzy Dashboard

Adding a New Recipient Address to the Address Library follows the same steps as adding your address when creating a shipment. It is crucial to fill in all the details correctly and precisely to ensure that your package is delivered smoothly and on time.
- As you can see in the image above, you can choose to fill in recipient details for either a Private person or a Company - choose the most appropriate option.
- Make sure to correctly enter the recipient's ZIP code. If entering it initially doesn't work, try removing or adding spaces in between.
Pro tip: Save time and quickly look up for a specific country's ZIP code example. For instance, if you are sending a parcel to the UK, search for 'UK zip code example,' and it should provide you with the standard format for that specific country.
We cannot emphasize enough how important it is to include your customer's phone number. It's definitely worth requesting it, even if it's not required at the time of purchase. This step significantly reduces the risk of delayed deliveries, especially if couriers can't find the recipient's address or the recipient is not home at the time of delivery.
Packaging Library

What's the Purpose of this Feature?
You might have one or several packaging types for shipping your products. In any case, rather than having to add the same information every time you create a new shipment, we suggest saving your packaging dimensions in the library. It's a small but highly valuable feature, especially if you're planning to scale your sales.
Where can I find Packaging feature on Swotzy Dashboard?
To access the Packaging feature on Swotzy Dashboard, follow these steps:
- Log in to Swotzy Dashboard.
- Click on the Settings ⚙️ icon located in the top right corner.
- On the left-hand menu bar, click on Packaging 📦.
- Here you can add all of your different shipping package dimensions.
How to Add New Packaging on Swotzy Dashboard library?

Adding a New Packaging to Library follows the same steps as adding your packaging dimension when creating a new shipment. You will need to provide the following details:
- Packaging Name: This is for your own convenience and you can name it any way you prefer.
- Package dimensions: Measure your package and all the parameters. Remember that the longest side of your package is length and make sure that you’re rounding up to the nearest centimetre when taking your measurements.

Items Library

What's the Purpose of the Items Feature?
To avoid the repetitive process of entering the same product details every time you ship to different locations, the Items library ensures that all the shipping details for your best-selling products are stored and ready to be added to your shipment orders. This feature is especially useful for businesses that sell their products internationally, as more specific item information is often required for customs
Where can I find Items feature on Swotzy Dashboard?
To access the Packaging feature on Swotzy Dashboard, follow these steps:
- Log in to Swotzy Dashboard.
- Click on the Settings ⚙️ icon located in the top right corner.
- On the left-hand menu bar, click on Items 🏷️.
- Here you can add all of your best selling products ready for local and international shipments.
How to Add New Item on Swotzy Dashboard library?
Adding correct product information is crucial for several reasons, but most importantly:
- To ensure you won't need to overpay after the package is shipped. All carriers weigh and measure parcels before shipping them.
- If you're shipping across borders, customs carefully scrutinize all the information provided. Any suspicion of incorrectly provided information can lead to shipment delays, increased shipment costs, or even parcel returns.

Item Title/Description: Be specific here and provide the full product name. We suggest adding at least two words.
Item price: Add the product sales price (without VAT).
Weight: Carefully weigh your product and add its total weight (without the parcel).
Country of Origin: Specify the country where the product has been produced.
HS code: Ensure that you add the appropriate HS code. Customs pay close attention to it.
Optionally, you can also add your SKU ID. This is for your own internal use.
