Poste Italiane has informed Union member countries and their designated operators that several Italian unions have confirmed a 24-hour strike involving the aviation and airport sectors. The strike will commence at 00:01 CET (UTC+1) on 26 February 2026.

As a result of the industrial action, there is a risk of flight cancellations, delays, and disruptions to airport services across Italy. Consequently, all postal product categories may experience operational delays.

Poste Italiane has stated that mitigation measures will be implemented at its facilities to minimize the impact. However, depending on the level of participation in the strike, disruptions may continue in the days following the strike date.

Further information on scheduled strikes (in Italian) is available via the official Italian Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport website.

Built-in Packing Slip Generation

February 24, 2026
Automated Packing Slips for Faster, Error-Free Fulfillment Swotzy will soon introduce automated packing slip generation — helping you streamline warehouse operations and reduce fulfillment errors. This feature extends Swotzy beyond shipping rate comparison and label creation, supporting the physical preparation of orders inside your warehouse.

📄 What is a Packing Slip?

A packing slip is a shipment document that lists the physical contents of a package, including:

  • Product names
  • Quantities
  • SKUs or product references
  • Order number
  • Customer details

Unlike an invoice, a packing slip does not include pricing or payment information. Its purpose is operational — ensuring that the correct items are picked, packed, and dispatched.

⏳ Expected Release

Packing Slip generation is planned for release in the upcoming month.

We’ll share a detailed announcement once the feature becomes available.

⚙️ Operational Impact

This feature is designed primarily for warehouse teams.

It helps:

  • Reduce picking and packing mistakes
  • Verify order accuracy before dispatch
  • Standardize internal fulfillment processes
  • Improve traceability between order and shipment
  • Accelerate dispatch time during high-volume periods

Packing slips act as a control layer between order import and parcel handover — improving reliability at the most critical step of fulfillment.

📈 Why This Matters

As shipping volume grows, small fulfillment errors become expensive.

By integrating packing documentation directly into Swotzy’s shipment workflow, businesses gain:

  • Fewer returns due to incorrect items
  • Faster warehouse throughput
  • Clearer internal documentation
  • A more structured shipping operation

Swotzy continues evolving from a shipping tool into a logistics operations layer — connecting rates, labels, and warehouse documentation into one unified system.

  • Compare your own rates with Swotzy rates in real time
  • Create all shipments from one system
  • Avoid parallel workflows
  • Keep full operational control

⚙️ How to get started

  1. Go to Carrier settings inside Swotzy
  2. Add your carrier credentials
  3. Connect your contract via API
