There is one thing these numbers do not include, and it matters. The clock starts when the parcel reaches FedEx, not when the order arrives in your store, and not necessarily when it leaves your door. Destinations outside Europe and North America, such as Australia, Japan, Singapore, and the Gulf, come in at a typical 4.4 calendar days, with a slower tail toward eight. That is quick for long-haul express, but this is exactly where the business-day versus calendar-day distinction matters most, so lean toward the higher end when setting expectations.
