Starting July 24, 2026, all shipments to the USA will require a valid 10-digit HTS code for every product. If you ship products to the USA, please make sure your shipments include products with valid 10-digit HTS codes. Starting July 24, Swotzy will only be able to create shipment labels for USA shipments when all included products have a valid 10-digit HTS code.
🔄 What's changing?
Until now, many shipments to the USA were cleared using a flat 10% duty rate.
Starting July 24, import duties will instead be calculated based on each product's 10-digit HTS code. This means the applicable duty rate will depend on the type of product being shipped.
