Shopify
Fulfillment
We're excited to introduce support for Shopify Multi-Location Fulfillment. When Shopify splits an order into multiple fulfillments, Swotzy will now import each fulfillment as a separate shipment instead of merging everything into a single order. Each shipment is managed independently, giving you more flexibility when shipping from multiple warehouses, retail stores or 3PL locations.
Before vs Now
Before | Now ✨ |
|---|---|
Items from multiple Shopify locations were imported as a single shipment. | Each Shopify fulfillment is imported as a separate shipment. |
One shipping label for the entire order. | One shipping label per fulfillment. |
One tracking number for all items. | A separate tracking number for each parcel. |
One shipping setup for the whole order. | Independent shipping rules for each fulfillment. |
One carrier for all items. | Different carriers can be used for different fulfillments. |
Default sender address only. | Optional sender address based on each Shopify location. |
How it appears in Swotzy
Multi-location Shopify orders appear as separate orders in your Shipments list.
Each order:
Shows the same Shopify order number
Links back to the same Shopify order
Contains only the items assigned to its fulfillment location
This makes every fulfillment completely independent while keeping the connection to the original Shopify order.
Ship from the correct location
If your Shopify store ships from multiple warehouses or retail locations, Swotzy can automatically use the sender address assigned to each Shopify location instead of your account's default sender address.
This is available as an optional automation rule. If you'd like to enable it for your store, simply contact our team.
Availability
We're rolling out Shopify Multi-Location Fulfillment over the coming days. Once enabled for your store, orders fulfilled from multiple Shopify locations will automatically be imported as separate shipments—no additional setup required (unless you want to use location-based sender addresses).
